Choose life. Choose a lake. Choose a swim. Choose a bait. Choose a rig. Choose sleepless nights under the stars. Choose the nocturnal music of branches creaking in the wind, leaves whispering, and the eerie night-calls of owls and wildfowl. Testing the monster squid purple

After my last trip with no bait, a bait order was needed so with the new monster squid out I thought I would give it ago.





I armed my self up with some monster squid red in 15mm's and some purple monster squid in 15mm's and some small dumbbells, all hook baits was tipped off with 10mm white choc's


After moving swims 3 times as I wasn't happy about the swims I was in I managed to get on the fish and with a welcome wake up call at 4:30 am I bagged this stunning mirror - 34 lb





My mate nick that was fishing with me also got on the fish bagging a 24lb just before dark and this stunning mirror which normally goes 41 lb but weighed in at 37 lb this time

With two stunners out we was both buzzing but not as much as my mate kris as he bagged a cracking mirror which I caught in September at 37 lb 7oz  this time it weighed 39 lb 8oz one happy lad
